What everyone is talking about: Andy’s proposed redesign of the NYTimes.
I like it, but I also bemoan when reality (ad buys, endless corporate meetings, performance rationalizations, etc.) rub up against the best intentions of designers.
Nice dream, though.
This is a wonderful read. Was looking for something like this.

I can’t help but think if a designer is that upset about business demands* mucking up their work why not just commit themselves to making pure art? *Not a manager who wants to comic sans, but a legit need to earn revenue.
